I'd like to make a significant edit to a field on my YC application (business model tweak after some user interviews this week), which I originally submitted on time. Possible, two days after the deadline?

Here at SXSW, and I had the pleasure to attend the "Life After YC" session with Brian Chesky (Airbnb), Dane Hurtubise (JobSpice), Drew Houston (Dropbox), and Jessica Mah (inDinero). It was fantastic. More than any other session, I felt like I was among peers. I got thinking, screw SXSW, we need a HN Conference. Or at least a HN track at SXSW.

Make it hacker-oriented, with technical and startup topics, invite the YC partners, maybe current and former batch founders to speak, maybe some angels, maybe help for people interested in applying, maybe a hack day? Who'd be interested?

I'm down in Austin for SXSW. And while I love seeing poor bastards pop up on my Firesheep sidebar, I can't use HN due to my own name popping up in there every time I open the page. When can we get https auth?

I might have applied for YC for Summer 2011, and my team may have been approached by another angel investor. Have any of you YC companies accepted investment before YC? It seems like I'd need to incorporate, hire lawyers, etc before YC (assuming I'd be accepted).

Any advice would be appreciated on the best way to proceed, assuming YC participation this summer.
