Any Netflix Engineers here? We'd Love to See a Post-Mortem of the Recent Issue

A lot of Reddit comments are suggesting that the recent Netflix outage was due to a manifest file failure.

However, it would be great to get an official explanation from Netflix.

This is Hacker News, after all, and we'd love to hear the technical details from the engineers who dealt with it.

There is so much information and mis information about vaping that I just wanted to know from the source I trust about the harmful effects of it.

So far all I got is it's supposed to be 95% less harmful than smoking but what does that really mean? Is it safe or bad in general?

So wonderful if there are any long term vapers here and what are your experiences wrt to your health.

Like the title says wondering if there is an equivalent of Google takeout for HN? Or how you guys are doing it?

I just realised that in the past whole week I've done like 10 Google searches and over 100+ chatgpt chats.

I never realized that defeating Google would ever be possible but here we are. Just wondering if my profile is unique (as I'm a dev so most of my queries are generally very tech related) or other people are doing the same?

I had access to gpt 3 for almost a year (maybe more iirc) and GPT3 was just as remarkable and I could do the same sort of chats with it in the playground. I remember there were even examples of chat with GPT 3 in the docs.

So what suddenly happened that it became so popular, even though the same tech has existed for years now?

Is it just social media?

I'm just wondering why is Google taking so long so introduce a competitor to chatgpt when almost every other search engine from you.com to ddg has this feature now? (Some for months afaik)

Is it the good old wait and watch strategy or Google just doesn't have it good enough?

Chatgpt is eating more and more Google's lunch and Gpt 4 is landing in a few weeks. Microsoft seems to be on fire yet the big G isn't doing anything.. what gives?
