Recently I launched http://doosracricket.com and currently working on getting users. It is a prediction site where you can compete with friends or world on cricket. I was counting on World cup 2011 series starting February 19th.

Now I see Yahoo cricket is also coming with Predictopus (more sophisticated with huge prizes)

Not sure if this is good or bad for my app. Looking forward to HN community for advice.

It has been 1 month since I released http://doosracricket.com/ and wanted to check how is my app doing?

In 30 days there were 331 Visits,

200 Unique Visitors, (this includes approx 100 HN users when I posted for feedback)

1,124 Pageviews

32 users (signups)

18 Facebook Fans

Expenses: $25 on Facebook ads and server cost.

Any suggestions will be very helpful. Thanks

Not many days left in November but I haven't seen many apps posted on HN this month as part of startup sprint. Just being curious here.

If you are experimenting and not sure of your idea, do you need to strive for perfection (UI, flow) or just hack to make minimum viable project and release.

I see lots of YC apps covered by TC, featured by few other popular media and wondering what percentage of the app make it big.
