Hey all. I’m looking for advice on growing awareness of my OSS project. For context, I’ve been working on it for around 18 months. There is one main user of the project, with around 20,000 end users. How would you go about growing a project like this? My goal is to have a few new developers give the project a try each week.

We have had nearly 6 months of economic gloom. Theres has been lots of hypothetical talk of who will win in these turbulent economic times.

Does anyone know of actual companies who have had some explosive growth in recent months?

Im just getting into this side of things and looking for the companies who are doing it well.

I am building a simple bot. The bot scrapes an RSS feed. The only persistence I need is the date time of the most recent item on the RSS feed. I dont want to have to spin up a DB.

What would be great is a service that allows something like the following simple-storge.com/account-id?data=the-date-i-want-to-store

Anyone know of anything like this that exists?

Looking for a few dev projects to make some extra money on the weekends and evenings. Preferably each job would not take me (senior fullstack dev) more than a few hours each.

Great example task would be:

Simple integration with an email API. Add a new dropdown that hooks into X endpoint.

Requirements would need to be well scoped to make this feasible I would imagine

Live streaming with live chat has become huge over the last few years. The chats are a massive target for spam bots. How are you detecting/stopping spam? Automated/manual/mixed
