I've finally decided to finish up reporting library I've been using for years at http://templater.info The idea is to use word or excel template and replace tags with data in it. It supports some complex scenarios like: expanding tables, cloning entire document and defining data format in template.

I use mostly C# so it's only for .NET currently. Do you think it would be useful to you? Would you buy it if there was a JVM version?
