I've seen agentic IDEs now Cursor or Antigravity and main trends seems to be development with just ideas, where although the changed lines are shown, its becoming less and less visible.

If we are becoming language agnostic, shouldn't we opt in for the most efficient way to program? may be a level below rust? no interpreters or may be no compilers even? and nobody will ever understand it and whole world will run on ideas?

Isn't it really obvious at this point in software engineering world, however the dev trend goes, AI replacing engineers or AI coexist with minimal engineers or automation slowly swallows bottom up in the dev hierarchy,

the engineers who knows servers, networking, scaling (Load, DB), distributed computing, hardware level competencies, Ops, Extensive Infra knowledge will have the ultimate last laugh in all this?

Like, it will be the last remaining frontier where battles will slowly cease to exist?

Idea is to have a open trust registry for unsigned binaries at consumer scale.

We have tauri, react native, electron based desktop apps coming from every corner right now. AI coding would have has multiplied the Apps. Last time I developed an App in 2023, it took 99$ per year to get the warnings off the mac app and for windows, I didn't have money get the notarization. I know we cant develop an open and free signing system. But we could have a wikipedia style community built and driven project for having desktop apps with a scanning, reporting malwares and other security features. I checked, no any such registry exists.

There are AI conferences all over the world, can I know if visiting them actually provides value for us, startup idea explorers?

I can't read a webpage without ads killing the reading experience. Can't we build either open integration or consortium of sorts where we pay credits in just one platform to be redeemed across the web, instead of managing 100000s subscription. It can be credits system. Pay credits share can go to the respective sites as with the user consumption with the site. We can reload the credits anytime. Or we can go the subscription route, credits would make more sense.

Let's discuss why this is a very bad idea.
