1. Whatever comes out from this will then have to be adapted. 2. Design is basically becoming a shadow product org by choosing what features to illustrate that can be pulled onto the roadmap. 3. The vast majority of the design is thrown away because it isn’t addressing actual business needs.
Does not #3 especially become depressing for the designers who worked on the visioning to see their work being basically tossed away? Does this really validate the cost of the strategy in general?
I'm envisioning a suite of services including burner & legal options, for example
Throwaway & forwarded email addresses
Masked phone numbers
Automated Opt-outs requests
Delete my information requests
And for checking companies compliance, creating a graph of the information that can be used to find pathways of where consumer information is being shared / sold.Price would likely be enough to cover some of the incidentals above in the 2-5$ USD range.
We're having recruiting issues, and the narrative is there are less people searching for remote roles, therefore that's why our recruiting pipelines are a trickle or what they're used to.
To reinforce this I checked LinkedIn which we syndicate postings to, and saw there was no "Company " Remote filter applied jobs.
My thought is, if this is advertised correctly, we'd see an influx of candidates, but I wanted to check with the HN community before escalating this further.
