I've been working on a fun, free tool that uses AI to analyze your handwriting and provide constructive feedback, including tips for improvement. It's a hobby project that I have spun off my OCR work, and I'm excited to share it with you all. I finished an app (www.sunscanner.co.uk) a few days back after 2 weeks hard at work that that tries to address the problem of "I've got a week and amount X to spend for vacation, where can I go?". A lot like Adioso, or Kayak Explore.

I'd love some feedback on it from the HN community because I'm frankly at a loss as to what to do next. I spent $30 to advertise on Stumbleupon last week, obviously 300 users isn't a lot but the bounce rate (75%+) told me it's not really hitting the right note.

Grateful for any thoughts and constructive criticism.

Long time HN reader here, first submission. I built SunScanner (www.sunscanner.co.uk) over the last two weeks, inspired by Kayak Explore and the question - can I improve the way we search for holidays.

The site is UK-focused, and searches the major holiday sites. I've done this all on my own, so any errors are mine, and the learning curve has been steep (the major problem I face now is to learn database optimisation - the database is large, and some queries can take some time).

I'd love to hear feedback from the HN community on this.
