I want some advice from people over 40 who started their higher education after they reached that age. I'm mostly looking at people who decided to do PhD or Masters post 40. How was your whole journey? What advice do you have to share?

What's your review of the practice?

There are a few services like patron or GitHub sponsors but those don't create value for the developers.

The error budget policy essentially prevents any deployments till we reclaim our error budget, did applying this policy help improve your system reliability?

Or is it just about pushing some thing to production so that users can start using it?

There seems like a lot of traction for this technique, is it any useful? I want to hear any criticism of it before I start using / trying it out.

I am not sure why I feel this way. Clojure on the outset looks like a perfectly fine coding language. However when I started using it I didn't feel that same elegance I would with Common Lisp.

I am unable to articulate why I feel this way. It's most likely because the Clojure code base I dealt with wasn't up to the mark.

Any views around the same? Have you felt this way?
