Hey everyone, I created this website to consolidate opportunities to work with independent creators. A friend was recently looking for roles as a video producer and found it hard to discover open roles, which are currently mostly found via DMs on the different content platforms or on twitter.

This is an attempt to surface these kinds of opportunities. Let me know what you think!

Start with myself: launched nontech.io, a job board for non-technical roles at startups, got 400+ upvotes on ProductHunt and was the #2 top product for the day.

Personally, lost close to 20 pounds in 2 months since starting doing keto and am currently within a healthy weight threshold for my age/height by a margin.

Also, came up with an idea for a startup where I can leverage my domain expertise and currently building out an inbound marketing campaign to validate the idea before progressing with it any further.

I'll start with me: * Started keto - 2 weeks now and counting, lost almost 7 pounds. * Started the Ruby on Rails tutorial by Michael Hartl - I finally want to get serious about it (failed completing it a couple of times).

I currently work at a multi-national entity overseas, and I see them using an internally-developed tool which could be used by bigger businesses in the US. Now how can I validate my idea?

I am currently an auditor at a Big 4 firm in low-income country. I am not completely satisfied by the amount of income I retain while working for sometimes 60+ hours per week, and I want to pursue my dream and build a business.

I think that starting to do consulting, saving money and invest it into my own (web product) business is the path to go.

My non-finance skills are: web development (beginner to moderate, knowledge of PHP and PHP frameworks, MySQL, Rails) and Excel (naturally). I have no portfolio currently (besides some basic bootstrap- and wordpress-based sites I've created a while ago).

Is there hope for me? How do I get clients while there are clearly a lot of developers having a substantial portfolio and better skills?

Community, what is the market you can still jump into and make profit without the need to innovate much?
