Folks, working with #Kubernetes ; two of the biggest challenges we face is:

1. When was the last deployment/scale of a service and when did it reach each pod?

2. What is the az spread of current set of Pods.

What are your biggest challenges while operating a k8s cluster at scale?

What is your workflow for planning capacity on the Cloud? How do you determine the compute/storage needs? And then, monitor and optimise for costs? Also, how do you chose vendors?

Like : Supply Chain, Finance(General Ledger etc), Purchasing, Order Management, Talent Management, Business Intelligence etc.

If you see malpractices or some idiotic/stupid moves in your company, would you be bold enough to report them? Or blog about them? Even at the expense of breaking the bridges?

Corollary to the above: - If you are working in a startup and you see some 'bad things', then would you blog about it after you decide that you are going to quit. - If you are working in a big company, and are essentially Dilbert there, then would you rant about your PHB once you quit?

Let's not debate the legal hassles :)

Which are the startups that failed due to Operational Challenges(and not essentially due to Technology).

By 'Operational', i am referring to issues like Vendor management, wherein things are outside the control of a 'process'.

Also, i would like to know about cases from developing world, wherein subscription fees are collected manually and not online, and the users do not end up paying or delay the payment(this happens a lot in India).
