Elon Musk, Putin, Mark Z are these guys just overblowing AI? Current developments in AI are no where close to cause WW-III. Why are these leaders frightening people with claims that AI can cause WW-III or ruin the world? On top of that media is going frenzy over any single statements or tweets by these leaders.

I have never seen Andrew Ng or Andrej Karpathy making such claims.

State of the art AI can only do very specialized things in limited scope e.g ASR, NLP,Image recognition, game play etc.

What am I missing?

What is the real value contributed by real estate agents?

They get 3% for buying and selling homes and most of the time work is done by Title company and other entities. Do realtors really deserve 3% of million dollar homes?

I know Redfin is trying to work on reducing this but it doesn't look like they are doing something disruptive.

Isn't real estate market riped for a major disruption? I would like to know what HN community thinks about disrupting real estate agents market (going beyond Zillow, Redfin, Movoto)

This could be very much a rare coincidence. I saw Facebook advertising Sphero BB8 right after I took photos from my iPhone. I did not upload these photos to Facebook or post comments on Facebook regarding BB8. Is Facebook accessing iPhone photos without permission and uploading them for advertisement purposes?

Those who are interested in trying out. Please take a photo of well known product ( BB8, Lays Chips, Parrot Drone etc) but don't upload it to Facebook or don't post any comments regarding these things on Facebook. Check if you see advertisements regarding above items in your FB feed.
