A couple of weeks ago I was watching The Masters tournament and started compiling a Twitter list of the top 100 PGA Tour pros. I created a test webpage and added the widget to it. That was interesting watching the tour pros comment before and after their rounds, but I soon found myself wanting more information. I added two more widgets beside the first, one to follow the hashtag #TheMasters and a second for the hashtag #Augusta. Now I was getting the tour pros input alongside the fans. What a way to watch the tournament!

Recently configured similar pages to follow MLB pros and games, the NFL Draft, UFC 159 and the NBA Playoffs.

The site is still a work in progress, but I'd like to get some feedback on the idea, the layout and any other insight you care to offer.

The MVP is built and I am seeking beta testers to give me feedback. Getting feedback on what works is nice, but I'm very interested to hear what doesn't make sense, why you think it won't work and what you think is missing. I have more features in mind, but they aren't worth building if they aren't inline with user needs and expectations. Thanks in advance!

I just finished reading the Frustrated post by iamjonlee and have to agree that misery loves company! Look at all of the responses. I feel jon's pain. Judging by the responses there seems to be many failures before reaching success. So the message is persistence...

While I'm not ready to call my latest venture a failure by any means, it is much slower to pick up then I thought when I began coding it 8 months ago.

So as not to repeat the same rate of adoption I am doing things differently this time. I would like to get you involved from the start. The idea remains the same - a site for topic based discussions, but that's the only parameter.

Everything else is up to us as a community to decide. This is a chance to fix (or not include at all) the problems we see with other social communities. We have the ability to add features that "solve problems" instead of just looking cool. Essentially we will be crowd-source-coding a new site.

I couldn't find such a list on HN or searching Google so I created a prototype today. It's basic, but something that could be very useful and interesting. I'd like to grow the list. If you have a site that has launched recently or will be launching soon then send it to me and I'll put it on the site. uStew.com
