My Government in Canada in proposing to make Sept 1st "women in cyber Day" and "remove barriers for women" in that sector, but my first reaction is that this won't be that successful because the job itself lends itself to strong, combative, people that aren't afraid to be the least liked person in an organization. Is my impression wrong? Is it reasonable to expect that they can increase women in cyber security from < 10% to 50%?
