I'm hitting a point in my career as a software engineer where I'm spending a lot more of my time writing internal design docs & technical proposals within my company. Writing (especially technical writing) is a skill that I've under-invested in for the past few years.
How have you improved your technical writing, and also what are some of the best examples of clear, concise technical proposals?
Hey folks, I work remotely in the open-source space, and I'm considering a move to the DuPont Cirlce / Logan Circle area in DC? Any DC folks on here have advice? How is the tech/startup scene in 2023? Not interested in ever getting a security clearance or working on anything in the defense industry, is there a tech presence outside of that industry? Thanks
I work at a company where I'm often reading very long design documents on Google Docs. I find it very difficult to do this extensive reading on a normal monitor, and would love to use a Kindle, e-reader, or e-ink monitor to read these documents. Is anyone else here in a similar position, and what do you use?
