I actually stole this from a Reddit thread [0] and it figured it may do well here, too.

My personal take: The /notion of concepting/ something like a Boltzmann brain. Or rather, any idea that brings forward notions of simulations outside of observed reality. I can't quite put my finger on it, but somehow having the ability to just /create/ these ideas makes me think of other possibilities.

I'm looking for a security/hacking talk. I have scoured the archives of CCC and Defcon but to no avail. My memory has provided the following:

* Man presenter who covered privacy and surveillance * He talked about different US government agency patches and untangled hidden meanings * He is a photographer that uncovered fake businesses setup by the US government to hide their activity * I'm pretty sure it was at CCC, but could be wrong

I'm sure this rings a bell for someone, but it's escaping me.

I'm aware of the hiring threads, but I'm asking for two specific things: startups that are hiring and who are offering stock options/RSUs.

I'm still (relatively young), have worked for two startups in the past. However my lack of knowledge on startup culture and how to negotiate in my best interest have left me wishing I'd done things differently. I want to try one more time, hence the post.
