I have two offers for Sr. Software Developer position. One is big brand Deloitte and I read on quora its work culture and learning opportunities are good. Other is Sears Holding. Sears offered 50% more than Deloitte. I really wanted to join Deloitte from beginning because I have never worked in Big Companies and it was my chance to see the culture and all. I am technically very good and it is huge amount of money Sears is offering.

Money is real problem here. I can not make that much money in Deloitte if I remain their for two or more years.

Which company should I join? Which company would be better in long term? I do not have any details about the project work and company internals.

Why inheritance is so bad and so many people are talking about. I think it make sense somewhere. If we should avoid than how to follow DRY or reuse the code.

Recently I met someone who have less experience(no too much difference) than mine but he is better programmer than me. I admire his skill and he is good programmer. But somehow it really hurts me. I used to think that I am very good by looking my past work. I got depressed also not of him but because I am not that much good or better. How do you deal with all this. You may have come across these feelings.

Some advice is very appreciated. Thanks for your help.

I am feeling really depressed. Someone newbie of my field with less experience made a very good impression in the community. While I was trying hard to make some impact for years and tried to enter in the field but not able to so much successful and he come and got all the glory.

Sorry I know it is wrong to be jealous. I got so much depressed and feeling very bad and insecure. I am also feeling so much anxiety.

Please help. Need advice. What should I do to overcome this thing.

Hi I was near to burn out and trying to find some good idea to implement. After so much research I got one Idea and I know it will be great open source project.

I was so much exited about that. Now someone else open sourced my Idea and It is one of trending repositories on github.Though I learned from that project but I loose interest in my project as it is already implemented. I am feeling so much depressed from two days.

Please give some advice.
