remember folks, not accepting a bully's abuse in silence is a violation of the HN guidelines
apparently HN needs a fresh supply of willing silent victims.
remember, don't be a sucker, stand up to bullies no matter the petty censoriousness of HN

I have pretty low confidence because I applied to YC with a few different ideas over the years and was always rejected, never got past the rejection email template. So I sort of doubt that I'm able to build anything people want. But I know I can build and code things, and I believe in what I'm doing.
I can't believe I finally got a meeting with a super A++ VC and I'm very nervous I'll ruin this chance. So I want to hear from people who can relate to how I feel and who have been through VC meetings and come out successful to share what they think I should do.
I want to double down on the good will I've already got on GitHub (> 500 stars) and making something that's really useful. I don't have a plan to make money, but I think the way to do it eventually could be to offer value added services atop the OSS projects (such as managed hosting for secure remote browsers, or plugins that do things like record and playback bug reports, or any arbitrary automation, to name some ideas I'm currently implementing).
