I'll start first. I am a 27 year old female from India. I work as an ERP developer. I have spent almost 5 years in the industry and have been active on HN for more than an year now.

What do you feel about PL/SQL Developers?

I recently started working for a manufacturing company with a very small team of developers.

The team does not user version control and it's appalling to me. They either maintain the versions in their local machine or on a server.

I have been talking to my manager and trying to convince him to start using one.

What are some really strong reasons can I give him so that he realizes that we can't do without a version control.

Please suggest the best online courses, books, blogs and other resources to learn Java. I am a complete beginner. Also, please suggest learning paths or ways to learn the language effectively. I'm kind of lost on where to begin from.
