Having started his entrepreneurial career at the age of 14, he believes that every child should start their first business while 4 years old. Or at least before entering the teenage years. Because this way we enter our 20s/30s having had enough time to learn the necessary skills and still have the power to start something awesome.
So far, he has established or helped to grow various businesses, including Robotex (global robotics education network), Shipitwise (building software for digitising logistics companies), QuikTract (on-demand platform for construction workers) and QuikCamp (on-demand platform for booking camping sites). Sander's prior experience also includes work in Startup Wise Guys, a private capital accelerator and investment fund and teaching entrepreneurship at multiple Estonian universities, including the University of Tartu.
Sander graduated in 2015 from Draper University with a non-academic degree in business and startup building. He also has studied Law and Business Administration at the University of Tartu.
His motto is: Dream, Risk, Have Fun and Never Regret.

Shipitwise, founded in 2015, set out to build a shipping aggregator that would provide an instant dynamic shipping price to anyone, later pivoting to build software that helps bring shipping firms online.
“Shipitwise offers an exciting opportunity for Speys to strengthen and expand its service offering” explains Jouko Sipilä, founder and CEO of Speys. “With the knowledge and technology to bring shipping firms online, the acquisition of Shipitwise supports the Speys strategy to lead the market and meet the future requirements for a single provider to automate logistics of everything”.
Aleksander Gansen, founder and CEO of Shipitwise, also commented “Speys’ acquisition of Shipitwise provides a major growth opportunity for both our businesses through an extended service offering for our clients. As organisations begin their transition to optimise and digitise their logistics operations, we will be best positioned to support them on that journey.” Gansen will join Speys as head of the Digitalisation division within Speys.
The expanded business will continue building Speys’ virtual logistics team offering. The whole team of Shipitwise will continue working with Speys after the merger.
Speys is a Finland-based Digital Party Logistics (DPL) operator focusing on automation of logistics. It has solely focused on providing outsourced logistics services since the year 2016. Since its inception, Speys’ business and service offerings have evolved to meet the unique demands of the dynamic and maturing market.
