Today, we are inundated with constantly learnings and context switching in tech. I have taken a lot of courses and read a lot of books, multiple times, on the same topic due to poor memory.

This is tiring as I get deeper into my career and would prefer to have more things stored long term.

I used Anki a couple times in college, but curious how you use Anki or other spaced repetition tools for learnings things like a new language, framework, software, theory, etc.

I’m messing around with a single node k8s homelab I’m running for fun side projects and micro service development.

I’ve done a lot of work with Kafka, but it’s pretty heavy and I really just want a decent pub/sub queue setup between services that would be somewhat reliable.

Is there anything you’d recommend? Open to thoughts on just using Postgres as a queue as well.

I have a linkedin profile that isn't mine nor is it is real, yet it has my name and previous employer on it. It's next to impossible to find a normal person to chat with online on this site and everything is blocked by an auth wall. Any suggestions on who to contact?
