I'm working to create a sort of Operating Manual for a specific large building. There are a lot of pieces of equipment from various manufacturers. My idea is to have the maintenance person snap a photo of a piece of equipment, have AI recognize the model/manufacturer, and provide a quick link to that equipment's repair manual and parts list. Any guidance on where to start would be much appreciated.

I just learned that you can set iPhone to run an automation (or any action) by tapping its back. I don't know why, but this made me wonder if it's possible to make a self-destruct button for a phone. I don't program hardware so just wildly guessing here, but maybe it is possible to set it on some kind of loop that causes it to overheat? I imagine there are lots of safeguards against that, but also imagine people have figured out ways around them.

Trying to decide between hiring someone to build in Bubble or from scratch. I have limited time, and am not a great developer. I’m good at project management. I have a pretty detailed spec doc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The goal is a working app that I can monetize, no outside funding desired. The app will be a document repository for facility managers who need to keep track of their equipment maintenance manuals. It’s a very specific niche, so not many customers but the pain is real.
