Does anybody know a short introduction to REST APIs ? I know HTTP reasonably well (it is not that complicated after all, I dare to say) and I need to know specifically what REST is about. I understand that being ignorant on the matter does not help in selecting a good source, but I've found all books (PDFs) on the internet excessively long, 300 pages+. Is it me overlooking the topic - because I don't know what I am talking about - or are they truly excessive ?

Has any of you got any experience with JGroups in big enterprise applications ? I understand it is the default clustering mechanism for JBoss but that does not necessarily mean it is reckoned to be the best choice.

Googling for it does not return the same number of hits that a main project would return - let us say Google Guava - which per-se does not mean anything but give me another reason to ask.

Any enterprise hand-on experience with it ?

I do download stuff from time to time, even from Youtube, to keep them somewhere safe, as I were building up a small digital library.

I like to select stuff which I really find interesting and this process helps me in removing a lot of noise which you would get by stashing all in the playlist, or in many playlist across several websites, websites, blogs, you see what I mean I guess.

My small USB HD is getting big enough (20 GB) for me to worry of a backup, do you think as an USB RAID HD as a good solution ? And, if so, do you have any product to recommend ?
