I grew up in a house full of books that shaped my interests. I have two young children and I'm building up a library for them. I'm curious to know what books stood out in your childhoods?
My work colleagues and I are planning on doing an algorithms and data structures MOOC or course together. I'm aware of the coursera offerings from Stanford and Princeton, the Udacity Georgia Tech course and Steven Skienas youtube videos. Does anyone have any favorites amongst these or other recommendations? The purpose is to get a basic working knowledge of the fundamentals for the members of our team without a background in Compsci and as a refresher for the members that did this a long time ago.
