I used to write my CV in LaTeX but I recently had the idea of just doing in Figma since it's so much more flexible. And it exports to PDF, obviously.

I wanted to create a bunch of free templates for people to use.

But I've seen some comments on here that suggest this will produce an unparse-able PDF that will fail many automatic job portals. Is that true?

I want to mount a tablet in my kitchen. I don't need it to do anything fancy. I just want to view:

* my recipes

* calendar

* notes

I plan on using Notion or building a mini personal dashboard, served as a local static page.

Ideally something Android based, with a good battery life, not sluggish and it doesn't break the bank.

Any suggestions?

For the last 1-2 months, I have had some sort of issue with the following:

* Google Meet -- I can no longer share screen.

* Google Sheets -- Pretty much all context menu options don't do anything (e.g: Conditional Format)

* Google Drive -- Can't reliably download files

Nothing shows up in the console either.

I've tried:

* disabling all extensions

* enabling 3rd party cookies

* making sure JS is enabled

* completely reinstalling Firefox

I am on Mac OS Sonoma 14.6.1
