What is going on with Chrome,
It seems Chrome does not have any way to stop video auto play (no settings option and all extensions that used to work now are delisted from Chrome store).
I tried many from the Chrome store and few that are not yet removed, simply do not work anymore. Has Google Chrome team fallen so low that they insist on autoplaying and giving no option to stop it!?!?
Is Skype on phone/androind asking permission access your phone for spying on you? (i.e. skype does not need to access phone as it should be only optional as it used to work, but since recently MS has decided to not allow skype call over WiFi or cellular data if you do not allow them to spy on you!! Skype before, and other apps like Viber do not do this and I see this as MS draconianism and greed.)
Any advices on linkedin (and on other career web sites) on how to avoid "I have a job for you" spammer (keyword matching) recruiters who did not even assess your current position to see if it makes sense for you to consider the position they are sending you. If you're at a higher grade, this ends up being ~99% miss and total waste of time. These recruiters, even if you give them a chance later, prove to be incapable of actual any level of quality in representing you.
I remember the times when much higher percentage of recruiting contacts were carrying some value and you could find good recruiters. Nowadays, recruiting profession seems to went quite downhill :-( Or is it that you just have to accept that today you have to search (active) by yourself or in rare cases if contacted by internal/corporate HR/recruiters to follow.
I am curious to hear any advices or useful opinions?
