Google Checkout does not create a merchant account for Indians and a Google Checkout merchant account seems mandatory in order to sell on the Android Market. What's the way out? Is opening a US bank account the only option?

We're working on a new website which has a single page after login. It displays notifications of new content across social networks to users and when they click the notification we load the content. But, all this happens without page reload. Now, I want to know if we should consider this as a single page view or every new content load should be tracked as a new page view?

Is it common practice to track ajax page loads as a new page view? We don't want to do something that might be considered as a malpractice.

I just saw a Ask HN post asking about founders who built profitable startups while still holding a day job. While I qualify for that, the comments I read had a lot of selling out stories but none of them seem to give much info on what most of the founders are doing after selling out.

If you built a startup and have sold it, how has life been after that? Did you start another or have you retired? Do you like it now or would you prefer the pre-acquisition life of yours?

There are quite a few 'weekend project' titled submissions all the time and many of them make it to the HN homepage. With no disrespect, are these really weekend projects or just a way to grab everyone's attention and get to the homepage?

Do you think a weekend project would have a psychological edge making others upvote in awe?

Or am I getting it completely wrong and weekend projects really mean made over several weekends?
