Question relates to the use of PostCSS in React. Context: There are lots of plugins done by Johnathan Neal (https://jonneal.dev/), but these plugins are CC0-1.0 licensed. In section 4.a of the license states "No trademark or patent rights held by Affirmer are waived, abandoned, surrendered, licensed or otherwise affected by this document."

Question 1: Is PostCSS thus patent encumbered by the use of Neal's libraries or any CC0-1.0 library for that matter? Question 2: PostCSS can be seen as a "compiler" in that it transmutes CSS source code. Is this seen as a business process, which can be patentable? Question 3: And the use of this business process, the produced artefact (the "compiled" CSS) is shipping that CSS liable for any patent royalties? Question 4: Are there any projects that removed the CC0-1.0 libraries from PluginCSS which I can follow?

Thanks for any insights. The last thing I want to do is to make an app and my employer gets sued.

First tsc run was running as is on macOS Big Sur, second was running the exact same code inside Docker. A 28x difference.

The paper is called "A Valine to Theonine substitution in the C-terminal domain of linker histone H1.2 abolishes mitochondrial cytochrome c release in vitro" with ID 2834

It has been submitted in 18 January 2019. No-one is returning my mails. No-one is returning my supervisor's emails as well. I need this paper to be published in order to get my PhD. I can't remove it from them and try to publish in another journal.

Any help would be gladly accepted. Thanks all.
