Hey HN, a while back I remember visiting a website where you could list what you know–Ruby on Rails, NodeJS, for example–and list what you want to learn–iOS, Android, whatever–and you could try to find someone who you would compliment. I can't remember if I learned of this website through Show HN, but I don't know where else I may have found it, and I'm having a hard time finding it using hn.algolia.com and Google.

Do any of you know what website I'm talking about, or do you know of a website that serves this function?

Hey guys, I'm sure there are some of us who got an invitation to Startup School Europe, are coming from outside of London, and are wondering where a good place would be to sleep for a night or two. Are there any HNers in London who want to offer their couch? I'd love to crash with some friends. If not, can any of you recommend a hostel, and perhaps a hotel as well for those who want a hotel instead?

Startup School Europe is on July 26th, a Saturday, and the venue is near the Barbican tube station.

I've been Googling for articles that talk about rolling out with a beta phase and I haven't found many. What apps should you release with a beta phase first, or should you release all apps with one? In what cases would you not want to have a beta phase? Doesn't a beta phase hurt the chances of an app going viral?

I thought these questions would be perfect for the HN community.

I've often come across AMAs on Reddit of people who run a successful website and there are technical questions and answers around what tech they use at their scale, which I know little about. So HN, what are some good resources to learn this?

I'm looking for a tutor to learn web development from. I'm having some frustration right now going from I don't know what I don't know to I know what I don't know, and I want to have a relationship with a person who can help me through this process.

Does HN have any suggestions where I can find someone? Any would be appreciated. :)
