I never was interested in investing in stock (Is that the same as trading? I have no clue what I'm talking about), because people seem preoccupied with the returns without any concern for the impact of their investment. I don't want my money to support horrible business practices. I'm sure I'm already contributing to many unconscionable deeds through my 401K, and have no idea what the money in my savings account is used for. I just figured I would wait until I came across some ethical way of investing. Maybe a platform with smart filters? Recommendations from knowledgeable people? Discussion groups? Labels/certifications? NGOs? It's been years and nothing of the sort passed before my eyeballs. Does anyone out here invest ethically without spending all their free time? How do you do it? Who do you listen to?
