I am taking a month off to do something new (C++ programmer here). What would you recommend I learn ? iOS, Ruby, node.js or anything else (don't know any of these)

I am building my resume these days and would like some feedback on ideal resume length (I personally would prefer single page resumes irrespective of experience). Any thoughts is much appreciated. I feel like I could super-squeeze everything in single page without any fluff (but I have ~14 years of exp), but am concerned if it will appear weak.

Low level coder here (another way to saying I am out of date with relevant skills!). I have an idea that I want to develop this year. Please recommend the most relevant skills that I should get familiar with. The idea involves - Live conferencing and Archival of videos - Clean looking web interface
