I'm already an anxious person by nature, but this is making me pretty nervous and very distracted at work.
What do I do? I understand this is a tradeoff of being in a startup, but the anxiety definitely isn't helping.
Thanks HN.
I wanted to know how I should be saving my income? I have some savings in a high-yield savings account, and just opened a Roth-IRA as well. Apart from this my company offers an HSA account, that I've opted for, for the triple tax benefits. I've put very little money in stocks as well, but not a chunk of my monthly earnings.
What should I be looking into to maximize my savings? Should I just put most of my money into high-yield savings and max out my Roth?
Thanks!
To be honest, I'm terrified of multiple things:
1. Why did they pick me, that too in one of the worst job markets? I'm sure they had tons of better/experienced people to hire.
2. What if I don't live up to their expectations?
3. I've always had trouble drawing the line between work and personal life, how do I balance this?
I'd love any perspectives on this situation, or even anecdotes of when you started a new job at a new-ish startup.
Thanks HN!
I graduate in a month, and decided to take a stab at this again once I have a bit of free time on my hands. So, for folks already involved in MLOps and Sys ML, how do I start learning about it?
For context, I work in robotics, specifically learning. I have experience working with ML frameworks like PyTorch and TF, and more recently even Lightning.
Looking forward to hearing back from folks!
