Of course HN is like fifty times nicer than reddit, etc. but you get the idea. Does anyone share my experience? If so, why do you think that is?
Remember is an intelligent personal search engine that lets you find every moment of your digital life.
We connect to your computer, phone, wearables and the services you use (Facebook, Twitter, mobile apps, etc.) and make all of your data searchable from one place. Going a step further, we run machine learning algorithms on all of your files to understand context so you can search using natural language.
We lose so much time looking for our files; be it notes, messages, photos, videos, audio recordings.
"Let me show you a video I sent Jack it's hilarious!" Stares at phone for 15 minutes looking for it
"I have a breakthrough idea about mitosis, let me write it down." Never gets back to that note again
This must end. We want to help maximise human potential, and we think this as close as we can get to having perfect memory with today's technology.

We know that this is insanely hard to build. We're not saying it's a piece of cake for us, but we're planning to get there by keeping learning and working. If you would love to have instant access to all of your life's work and memories, vote for us!
Demo: We have a demo, but for technical reasons I can't just post it here yet. You can sign up to the newsletter on our website to be the first to know when the beta is out. If you can't wait, send me an email and I'll send you the demo link: mert@remember.ai
Hypothetically speaking: You're working on an idea that has the potential to become one of the most successful products in the world if built well. For the sake of argument, let's say it "will" be considered as one of the best ideas of the last decade or two. You have the idea, and you know exactly what your product should do and how it should do it. But you are not an engineer. The dilemma is that your idea cannot be downplayed. Whoever you share it with immediately realises how insane of an idea it is; which makes your idea super easy to steal. Let's say this idea needs quite a lot of resources to be well built, and you definitely can't do it alone since you're not an engineer capable of building such a thing. Again, for the sake of argument, imagine you're not well connected to the startup scene so you'll have to make cold intros.
And one last hypothesis, your biggest motivation is not the money or the fame, but it is to change the world. And your idea will do that.
What do you do? Explain step by step your action plan to succeed.
I am looking forward to arrive to SF in a couple of months to start my startup and even though I am connected to some degree to the startup scene in SF, I'd like to grow my network. Any tips on how to set up meetings with investors and how to set up the company in SF as a non-american citizen? Thanks in advance!
