I have a small project, connecting multiple GigE vision cameras, and encoding incoming frames using Windows machine. Looking at multiple compression video option made me super confused about their licensing. what is deal with H.264 and H.265 ? can I use it on our local system to record the compressed video on the server.
If not what other options do I have?
