Not everyone knows that drug manufacturers offer discount cards on their websites. Occasionally the doctor's office will give you the heads up, which is nice. But there's a huge information gap here and it can cost people meaningful amounts of money.

I wish there existed (if there doesn't already) a notification system that links these discounts with the doctor's office (or pharmacy, though that might conflict with their interests). When they pull up the medicine to prescribe, the discount card information automatically pops up and a print out is shared with the patient. Maybe a more advanced system would determine the patient's eligibility based on his/her profile and send the discount request/card directly to the pharmacy.

I'm just a sales/marketing/finance guy with the technical acumen on par with advanced primates, so I would be interested to hear your thoughts on the feasibility of this technology. I appreciate it.

Looking at salary numbers online, a CV scientist salary can be roughly 15% - 30% lower than ML scientist salaries. What explains this (more specifically than supply/demand)? Thanks!

I'm curious to know about the quality Georgia Tech's online Master's program in Computer Science. Generally speaking, is this degree considered as valuable as the traditional Georgia Tech MS/CS. If not, what would you say are comparable traditional MS/CS degrees?

I just visited Boxed.com, a grocery delivery site - a pop up box required me to Sign Up/Log In, or else I'm unable to access anything on the website.

For me, and I imagine many first time visitors, that's a huge turn off.

I understand the aim is to create an e-mail list, but I feel the negative first impression cancels out the potential for leads acquired. Or am I wrong?

I recently did an UberPool. The passenger and I each paid $6 for the entire ride.

Between pickups and dropoffs, it lasted 45 minutes. The driver explained it would take him 15 minutes to return to an area with customer demand. After taking into account Uber's take, plus the other costs of being an Uber contractor/driver, how long can we expect these rates to last before either a driver revolt or significant price increase to customers?

A friend told me that he's wary of joining a company at Series D or beyond. Is this just his personal preference? Do you consider a certain phase of funding as a sh*t-or-get-off-the-pot indicator, or do you take into account the whole picture (performance/other metrics)? Thanks!
