I’m a network engineer at a large US company, and we’ve been having difficulty with ensuring our route advertisements are correct when making summarization and firewall changes.
This has caused outages recently, especially as we use both Azure and AWS as well as on prem data centers so our route tables have become very large and complex (roughly 4000 routes and growing).
Is there a resource around testing of routing? For applications I know there are both unit tests and end to end system to tests to make sure it works as expected. Is there something similar in networking?
I would also think this could be done on the server side, so the user should never interact directly with the database. Is web development usually difficult to find answers for? I work in networking so rarely interactive with web dev.
Thank you.
I'm a student at Purdue University, and I believe I have a very clear case against a towing company regarding illegal towing practices. I've contacted 2 attorneys, both who said I definitely have a case but need to do more research before going further, but didn't quote a specific $ figure if I requested their services.
How should I go about this process? Have you ever been involved with a class action lawsuit? This class action would affect anyone who has been towed by this company, but I have no idea how many students/people that would be. The company was founded 18 years ago, but I wouldn't know how long they've been not following the Indiana Code. If the community has any advice, this has been a very legal, confusing process so far.
