I'm working on a proposal titled 'Building a Web Startup in Go'. It will be about based on my experience at building https://localraces.com from scratch by myself in all Go. There is a little JavaScript, but only when required. Given that title what would you like for me to talk about? Consider this like an AMA, but if the question or answer is really good I'm going to use it in my proposal and not answer.
I'm in Denver for Gophercon and used Airbnb. I have a funny story about attending the first part of day 2 in my pajamas. I'll post it somewhere after I get back home and have time to get a site up. The story is so good it needs its own website.
I am very curious about what programming language was used to write the Watson software that IBM used to play Jeopardy. There is a screen of code at 1:49 in this, http://www-943.ibm.com/innovation/us/watson/what-is-watson/a-system-designed-for-answers.html video, but I couldn't make out the language and it could just be a filler. Has anybody seen anywhere it was mentioned?
