Is that means that Stripe was completely build with Common Lisp?

Are there schools who use Scheme as programming language?

I want to make some experiment on one of my classes by switching to Scheme. I already use Python for all other classes (children from 14 to 18 years old). I want to use HTDP (with Racket) and some SICP. The reason is that with Python it's tricky to use another libs, use GUI, 3D etc. With Racket it's look much simpler. Also Scheme itself is a lot easier language.

What happened with Lisp community? There is no new announces, success stories etc. Lisp bloggers stopped to update their blogs. Is this the end of Lisp era? Maybe Python/Ruby/... occupied a niche of Lisp?

My current laptop is Dell with 17" screen (1920x1200). I'm switching to MBP but I can't decide MBP 13" or MBP 15". Is it comfortable to work on MBP 13" (mostly web development)? Or it would be better to buy 15"?

Another options are: iMac (21", 27") MBP 17" MBA 13"

Any thoughts?

I want to find NoSQL database engine which has integration with Common Lisp. I want to use it on one server environment. The main point: easy of use. I like Redis approach with abstract data types (lists, sets, hashes) which is familiar to every developer.

Recently, we have started developing web application with Django. Everything is wonderful, but Python is not Lisp and I feel uncomfortable with Python. In the sense that with Python & Django I am restricted. I can't build eDSL to describe application workflows, eDSL for DB access, etc.

I want to try rewrite it from scratch in Common Lisp. What web technologies stack to use?

SproutCore + Hunchentoot + MongoDB is it right choice?

It seems that a lot of old school Lispers switching to Python (for example: Peter Norvig). What do you think on Lisp vs Python today?
