I am the new author of my PDF - getting started with passive income building software (link in my profile). Is there a clear cut path to promoting digital products? I have heard people asking me to promote on HN, reddit, answer on Quora, write blogs, create intro videos on youtube. It appears that takes a lot of time in building an audience by providing good quality content on a regular basis. Is there a platform similar to Udemy or Amazon where I can post my digital pdf and the platform takes a cut for the marketing? Any guidance is appreciated. Thanks!

I am a developer by profession and currently working on building a platform for developers to pair up with marketing professionals - www.tractionify.com. I initially developed www.inqvest.com for tech startups to find angel investors. I would like to slightly modify the direction and build a website for startups to partner up with marketing experts. Sort of a dating site for developers to meet up with traction gurus.

Current job - latest technology (.NET 4.0), lower pay, long commute, nice team. New job offer - short term project .NET 2.0, higher pay, short commute, team lead seemed to be nice. Any thoughts?

For a startup landing page, is it better to use a slider/carousel (example: parse.com) or go with content laid out along the page (example: mint.com)? What are the chances of users clicking the "next" button on a carousel as opposed to scrolling down the page?

Can any marketing gurus or tech experts who analyzed the conversion rate weigh in?

InqVest (www.inqvest.com) is an online platform for technology startups to get seed funding. The site is in beta but you can sign up using any dummy email address.
