Edit: I have worked with Java/Python/JS extensively. To be honest not very fond of the Java/JVM platform for all the usual reasons.

Please give a brief description.

Here is one of my own, just to set the ball rolling.

-- turn abstract concepts into Physical object

-- Group items into big chunks/categories

-- create Images

-- discover Relationships between things

-- make things Active, preferably some crazy/surprising Actions

-- invent emotional Stories that contain the things you want to remember
