Whenever I go on HN i see threads about Rust, Webassembly, Vue, Elm, and other technologies I've never actually seen a human being use in real life. It's very difficult to tell if some of these are actually getting big, or if they just have strong developer communities that like talking about them, or if they're actually just fun tools to tinker with but don't have much professional use.

What do you see on here that you think gets too much or not enough hype?
