I'm looking to raise my first round and the traditional PowerPoint pitch deck seems so outdated and boring. I'd love to create a nice, landing-page like web page to send to investors, but not sure if it's a good use of time if they're all going to end up asking for a PowerPoint anyway.
I definitely don't want use Squarespace to manage my domains and GoDaddy is out of the question. Hover seems okay but their UI was a bit buggy when I tried it a few months ago. Cloudflare is currently my top choice but they don't seem to have the variety of TLDs that Google Domains had.
What registrars are you guys switching to?
After about a year of not writing, I decided to start back up. To my surprise, when I tried to log into my Mailjet account, I got a message saying "Account closed due to phishing attempts."
I emailed support and all they would offer me was "Our decision is final. We cannot give you a reason for security reasons. We cannot let you export your list of subscribers."
So, I guess I just lost a few hundred subscribers and there's no way for me to get them back. If my account was compromised (probably not), they should've let me know and helped protect my account. If their system actually detected a phishing attempt, it must be hilariously bad because I was sending a very basic email about a new blog post being published.
Don't be like me. Back up your list of subscribers. You never know when a service like Mailjet will lock you out with no explanation.
