I am curious to hear your Corona solutions? My suggestions:

1: Only quarantine old people and risk groups (>65y or pre-conditions of lung/heart). They get free delivery everything.

2: Let others work and spend money, as long as they are not in crowds.

3: World War II style industry mobilisation: Government buys x% of hotel bedrooms and turns them into war hospitals. Increase capacity of life-saving things by factor 100 (eg ventilators, masks).

Meantime: - Test 1000 random people per region, weekly, to get true death rate - Don't forget negative consequences on health/additional deaths from increased poverty, if economy is hit too hard

we are evaluating banking fintech ideas (=startups, which deal with banking services, examples: Revolut, N26, Brex, Scalable Capital) and every time we calculate market sizes or potential profits, we come up with very low numbers, which never lead to the unicorn valuations that those other Fintechs claim.

What are we missing? On which story do they receive their massive fundings and valuations? Should we do a banking fintech?

Example: Current Revolut revenues per year: ~30m EUR; if they 10 fold their revenues, and start to generate a 20% profit margin (instead of loosing money on every customers as they currently do), then we have 300m EUR revenues x 20% profits = 60m EUR profits / year = 900m EUR valuation, considering a multiple of 15.

I want to create a productivity app, which runs in the background, and reminds me to work on my most important tasks, when it thinks that I am not. The goal is to create a Minimal Viable Product which I, and others, find useful. Which of the two platforms has more potential customers? In other words: What is the market share of Mac vs Windows 10 among people who happily try out new productivity apps? My coding skills: I am an experienced backend developer, but have not done a Mac or Windows 10 app yet. I like both OS.
