I've got a product that I've built and I applied to Y-Combinator with it, they denied my request. Today I was reading TechCrunch and another company doing the same thing as me was on the list of the 7 most interested start ups at 500 start-ups.

what does this mean? Do I fail at life?

Anyone looking for someone with mad skills in Toronto?

Do people actually get jobs for sites like Monster or Workoplis?

Now they are used to stream more of the corporate medias propaganda driven metanarrative (ie pop-culture, movies, music, reality-tv).

I want to download a movie, but I'm worry about getting into legal trouble, is that a reasonable concern or am I being overly paranoid?

Is it typical when being hired at a Start-up to not be a full-time employee but a monthly contracted worker?

As a group of programmers build open-source products they are spending time on the process but not getting paid, they then create a product, something like Joomla, which then is used by other developers. But as a whole, Joomla makes some jobs easier, but also kills jobs (or hours of work) as it takes less people and work to get a site built.

I know it makes some jobs easier, but more importantly it makes some work free.

How is programming work worth anything if it can be done for free?

What I mean to say is open-source is shooting the industry in the foot.

Is there a product that exists to helps people exchange ideas, ie people sell or buy ideas?
