By viable I mean a hobbyist or small business can afford to host and deliver video at a quality comparable to youtube - minimal buffering, formats that work across desktop and mobile, etc - from a platform they have complete control over.
Would love to see any numbers that are involved in working this out, how those numbers are trending, and if it looks like they will arrive at useful values any time soon.
You can see in the gif on their producthunt page [0] (top right) that entering a url gets converted by the editor into a form. Is this just a deal Rabbut made with Medium or a feature I can't find documented anywhere?
