Ask HN: Why is Netflix audio engineering terrible?
When watching Netflix, I have 3 options.
Miss half the dialogue,
Blow my ears off in action scenes
Or watch quietly with subtitles on.
This isnt the only antipattern I notice with Netflix, but its one thats actively harmful to peoples hearing.
Why?
