I'm recently surveying phone options for a new company. At my previous startup, we (unadvisedly) started with my cellphone number as our main line.

This number is largely used for suppliers and legal contact - phone isn't an early sales channel for us.

Ideally, whatever solution chosen can scale past the first 50 employees and give them work numbers if they are customer-facing.

Some options I've looked at

- Grasshopper

- Zoom has a new offering: https://zoom.us/phonesystem

- Google Voice (still seems too feature-lite and doesn't work well with my Project Fi phone)
