I'm interested on how others approach this: what do you do for your parents, for yourselves and for your children? Is there some practice or habit-forming that is low-effort but absolutely a must-have?
I've setup a new router (running dd-wrt), using same SSID, mac cloning (same BSSID), same subnet mask, same channel, same security method... but the client is not able to connect to the new device yet.
What else is there to clone? Could it be a difference in the chip on the router? What are good ways to migrate such wi-fi clients to a new device?
I came across https://www.azuracast.com/ so far, which seems to be a nice starting point, but what else is out there to look into?
Is there any out there? Plus points if it is hackable in any way, but not a hard requirement.
Edit: I am looking for a watch with independent GPS chip, not one that needs to be connected to a phone all the time.
And if you are unsure about the choice, how would you make sure your app is able to upgrade it later?
E.g. easy: iterate over the ids of the articles and call curl on it. difficult: you need puppeteer with multiple JS tricks to get through the first few pages, and the end is far away...
Browser Window #1 - my default profile with content blockers (e.g. privacy badger + ublock origin): AirBnB displays the apartment with a cancellation policy of 1 day before the check-in date.
Browser Window #2 - Guest mode in Chrome, no extensions, no cookies: AirBnB displays the same apartment with a cancellation policy of 14 days before the check-in date.
Browser Window #3 - rarely used profile with the same content blockers as #1: 14 days cancellation policy.
Is this a glitch of the content blockers? Is there a "fraud protection" in AirBnB, which considers me more trusted on my usual profile? Did anybody experienced similar thing?
And which policy will apply when I book the apartment? :)
