Noticed it today. You can now use Background Effects in Google meet in Firefox. Until today (i suppose), they were only available on Chrome or Chromium Based Browsers.

Can other novel RISC architectures like RISC-V or ARM replace x86-64 in next half century?

Hello HN. I am largely fond of technology and computers but never owned a computer(Well, I own a laptop but it's not desktop computer).

Now that I can afford and want a desktop computer, I am thinking of building it. Is that a good idea? How much difficult would it be? Can you share your experiences building one?

PS: I am thinking of going with AMD processors and graphics card. What suggestions would you give for complete noob like me?
