How does everyone spend time while they are waiting for their code to compile? More generally, there seem to be quite a few activities that do require focus over a longish period of time, but have natural breaks built into the process. How do you stay focused and keep yourself busy?
Noticed over the last few days that a bunch of services logged me out and forced a password change. Is it just me or others are seeing this too? Could this be a sign of some massive 0-day disclosure soon?
It's clear (albeit somewhat subjective) when it comes to product. We all (at least as users) can tell whether the product or the experience are delightful. But what about the company itself? How do you tell a masterpiece of a company from an OK one? Who should one ask to begin with? Shareholders, customers, maybe employees, or the society in general? Is it in principle possible to excel across all those dimensions? Should that even be the goal?
